Many trekking regions of Nepal need travel and trekking permit. You should also register your travel schedule at the embassy or consulate. Travelers should carry trekking permit and passport throughout the trekking journey in Nepal. Deviation from the trekking route as mentioned in the trekking permit is considered as unlawful in Nepal. While walking in the trekking trails of Nepal, make sure you register yourself at the police checkpoints for your safety and hassle-free trekking.
