Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu, Transfer to Bhaktapur +

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, our representative will greet you and transfer you to Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur, also known as the City of Devotees, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its well-preserved ancient architecture and vibrant culture. Check into your hotel and relax after your journey.

Day 2: Bhaktapur Sightseeing and Preparation +

After breakfast, embark on a guided sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur. Explore attractions such as Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Nyatapola Temple, Dattatreya Temple, and the Pottery Square. In the afternoon, you'll have some free time to prepare for your upcoming trek. Our team will assist you with any necessary arrangements or gear.

Day 3: Drive to Ramechhap, Fly to Lukla (2,860m), Trek to Phakding (2,610m) +

Early morning, drive to Ramechhap from Bhaktapur (approximately 4-5 hours). From Ramechhap, catch a scenic flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. Upon landing in Lukla, begin your trek to Phakding, a picturesque village located along the Dudh Koshi River.

Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3421m) +

Today's trek takes you from Phakding to Namche Bazaar, the bustling commercial hub of the Khumbu region. Along the way, you'll cross several suspension bridges, pass through pine forests, and catch glimpses of towering Himalayan peaks. Arrive in Namche Bazaar, where you'll spend the night. Take some time to explore the vibrant market and acclimatize to the altitude.

Day 5: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar +

Alternatively, you can explore Namche Bazaar further, visit the Sherpa Cultural Museum, or relax and interact with locals.

Day 06: Trek to Dole (4,040m) +

Day 11: Acclimatization and Rest Day in Lungden +

Start your day with a relaxed breakfast, light exercises, and staying hydrated. Explore the village and its serene surroundings with a short walk, possibly visiting the local monastery. Be mindful of not overexerting yourself and take breaks as needed. Enjoy a hearty lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing or practicing breathing exercises while taking in the mountain views. 

Use this time to mentally prepare for the upcoming trek and connect with fellow trekkers. Acclimatization is crucial for a safe and enjoyable journey in high altitudes, so take full advantage of your time in Lungden.

Day 13: Rest and get organized at base camp (4,550m) +

Begin your trek to Kyajo Ri Base Camp, following a rugged trail through alpine meadows and rocky terrain. Set up camp at Kyajo Ri Base Camp and prepare for the climb. Attend a briefing with your climbing guide and review the route plan. Rest and acclimatize in preparation for the ascent.

Day 13: Trek back to Lukla (2,800m) 6/7 Hrs +

Rest day at Kyajo Ri Base Camp to further acclimatize and prepare for the climb. Organize climbing gear, check equipment, and review safety protocols. Practice rope techniques and discuss climbing strategies with your team. Enjoy the spectacular mountain scenery surrounding the base camp.

 

Day 14 : Move up to Camp 1 (5,300m) +

Depart base camp and ascend to Camp 1 on Kyajo Ri. Navigate steep terrain and crevassed glaciers under the guidance of your climbing guide. Set up tents at Camp 1 and settle in for the night. Enjoy dinner and rest in preparation for the next day's climb.

 

Day 15 : Move up to Camp 2 (5,700m) +

Continue your ascent to Camp 2, traversing technical terrain and negotiating crevasses. Climb steadily towards the summit, following the established route. Reach Camp 2 and establish a high camp for the summit push. Rest, hydrate, and prepare equipment for the summit bid.

 

Day 16: Summit Kyajo Ri (6,186m) and descend to Camp 2 +

Early morning starts for the summit push on Kyajo Ri. Ascend steadily, navigating challenging terrain and overcoming technical sections. Reach the summit of Kyajo Ri and celebrate your accomplishment with panoramic views of the Himalayas. Descend carefully to Camp 2, retracing your steps and avoiding hazards. Rest and recuperate at Camp 2 after a long day of climbing.

 

Day 17: Contingency day for any delays +

Reserve day for contingencies such as adverse weather conditions or unexpected delays. Use this day to rest or make up for lost time if the climb was delayed. Monitor weather forecasts and consult with your guide regarding the summit conditions.

 

Day 18: Day 18: Descend to Base Camp (4,550m) +

Descend from Camp 2 to Kyajo Ri Base Camp, retracing your route through the mountains. Take your time to descend safely, managing fatigue and altitude effects. Arrive at base camp and celebrate the successful climb with your team. Relax and enjoy a well-deserved rest at base camp.

 

Day 19: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,450m) +

Bid farewell to Kyajo Ri Base Camp and begin your descent towards Namche Bazaar. Descend through picturesque landscapes and quaint villages. Arrive in Namche Bazaar and check into your lodge for the night. Reflect on your climbing adventure and enjoy the comforts of civilization.

 

Day 20: Trek back to Lukla +

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla, marking the final leg of your trek. Reflect on your journey as you pass through charming Sherpa villages and lush forests. Celebrate the successful completion of your trek in Lukla.
