Island Peak Climbing in the Everest region is a classic adventure offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas from Kalapathar and a thrilling peak climbing experience in the Khumbu region. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu & transfer to Bhakatapur Hotel +

Upon arrival, Around The Himalayas arrange to pick us from the Airport. Then we will be transfered to our Bhaktapur Hotel. After Check-in to the hotel,you can take a rest at your Hotel room as your flight time. In the eveneing,there will be a welcome dinner hosted by Around The Himalayas where you will served with excellent typical Nepali food. Overnighht at Bhaktapur

Day 2: Sightseeing in Bhaktapur +

After breakfast, begin to explore medieval cities of devotees and the best presereved of all the old cities of Kathmandu valley. Bhaktapur defines as 'City of devotees', 'City of Culture' and 'Living Heritage'. The city is well decorated with the Pagodas and religious shrines. During your visit, you will explore typical Newari culture,beautiful temples,wood carved places and amazing architeture of 15th century.

Day 3: Fly to Lukla (2,860m) & trek to Phakding (2,610m) +

Walking duration:3.5 Hrs
We take an early morning flight to Lukla,a gateway to the Everest trek.Flying for about 30 minutes with a beautiful views of hills and mountains of Nepal,we land at the world'd most dangerous ariport Lukla. Then we will meet our team memebers at Lukla and  proceed to day trek towards Phakding. After three and a half hour trek on a gradual downhill trail,we reach the small village of Phakding on the bank of the beautiful Dudh Koshi river.

Day 4: Trek from Phakding to Nache Bazaar (3,440m) +

Walking duration:5 Hrs
After breakfast at Phakding,we set out for the mountaion junction Namche,we cross the river by airy suspension bridges.Beyond Monjo is the entrance to the Sgarmatha Nationla Park,which was set up to portect & preserve our fragile mountain environment.We then take a steep hike to Namche Bazaar.If the weather is clear,we can get the first glimse of Mt.Everest.Namche Bazaar is the main trading hub for the Khumbu region,which is quite busy with the local people & with tourist as well.We end up our day in Namche Bazaar.

Day 5: Acclimatization day +

Namche is an ideal place for the rest day to acclimatize before heading towards the Tengboche.To acclimatize you can visit Khunde Hospital which was set up by Sir Edmund Hillaray or you can take a one hour walk upto the Everest View Hotel above Namche for the sunset view of Amadablam,Lotshe,Nuptse & Everest.From there we will descend to Khumjung village,we will visit famous an old monastery where you can see the Yeti skull hanging in the monastery.We will also visit to Khumjung Hillary School and then back to our Lodge.

Day 6: Trek from Namche to Tengbohce (3,860m) +

Walking distance:4/5 Hrs
After breakfast we will leave our lodge and follow the trail leading to Kyangjugma village.Along the way we can spot wild lives like Phesant,Musk deer or a herd of Himalayan Thar.The trail gradually goes down to Kyangjugma.The path eventually reaches Sanasa which is the major trail junction to Gokyo valley & Everest Base Camp.We continue our trail through pine forest with narrow steep trail to Tengboche.On reaching to Tengboche we will visit to Tengboche monatery and enjoy the panoramic views of mountains in Everest region.

Day 7: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410m) +

Walking distance:5/6 Hrs
Today,our trail passes through dense forest of Rododendron to the suspension bridge near to Pangboche village.By crossing the suspension bridge the trail ascend to Pangboche village.We will vistio Pangboche monastery and continue to Shomare village.the trail mostly passes the open field of Orsho and then to Dingboche.

Day 8: Trek from Dengboche to Lobuche (4,910m) +

Walking distance:5/6 Hrs
Initially, our trail starts along the ridge lines to Khumbu Khola Valley and then to Thokla. We can enjoy the majestic Himalayan views of Pumori (7165m), Nuptse (7861m), Lobuche (6367m), Ama Dablam (6856m) and numerous other peaks. From here we will climb along the lateral moraines of Khumbu glacier and continue to ascend to Lobuche after passing Thokla pass (4830m)

Day 9: Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep (5,140m) +

Walking distance:3/4 Hrs
Our trail passes along the Khumbu glacier and climbs steeply to Changri glacier. The trail gently ascends to Gorakshep where we will enjoy the magnificent views of Pumori (7165m), Lingtren (6749m), Khumbutse (6608), Nuptse (7861m) and many others. Enjoying the beautiful mountain views we will head toward the Everest Base Camp. Initially, we will pass a glacier lake and continue along the side of moraine to the central part of Khumbu Glacier. From here, we will steeply climb to the Everest Base Camp. Reaching the Everest Base Camp, we will get to the majestic Mt.Everest and its neighboring peaks.
